"To Help Business-Minded People Meet & Grow"
STARTING OUT
This innovative and professional group began as the Queenstown
branch of the Wise Women's Network. It was soon found that belonging to
a national collective didn't satisfactorily cater for Queenstown's
unique business environment and the Queenstown Businesswomen's Network
was launched in March 1998.
A NEW LOOK, A NEW MARKET
Recently rebranded to "QBN the Business
Network" in order to cater for the increasing number of men wanting to
participate in our meetings, our committee hasn't forgotten its origins.
We
meet on a regular basis to bring together people interested in business
in the Southern Lakes area to socialise, support, encourage and share
information with each other. Our flexible programme enables us to make
use of the many talented business mentors who enjoy visiting our
beautiful region.
TO MEET AND GROW
The opportunity to
network is provided by attending any number of our meetings. We aim to
hold eight meetings per year to advance the interests and welfare of
people in business and provide opportunities for members (male or
female) to promote their products or services.
Our
non profit, non affiliated organisation is proud to have facilitated the
region's largest Business Expo, an annual highlight for all those
interested in bettering their business performance and improving
professional skills.
You don't have to own
a business to join QBN. You just have to have an interest in business
and networking. That's all that's required! We welcome all sectors of
the business community - business owners, employees, and businesses
targeting women, aspiring small business operators, entrepreneurs,
corporate management and staff.
By joining QBN you will be kept updated on issues and learn about business along the way.
